Views from the mountains -- Wasatch Mountains above Pleasant Grove, Utah

Just in case somebody wonders why we live in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and why I chose to travel back to California to photograph weddings and special events -- instead of simply living in Southern California. Here's one of the reasons. These trails, and the views from said trails, are at walking distance from our house. No traffic.

Self portrait -- at the mountains

Self portrait taken yesterday (06/16/09) on my way back down the mountain. The narrow roads, rocky mountain side and the approaching storm caused me to stop my hike. (Grove Creek Trails, Wasatch Mountains, above Pleasant Grove, Utah.)

1/2 day wedding photography coverage

Hi,

I've just added a "1/2 day" wedding photography coverage to my pricing structure for those weddings that do not need 8 to 10 hours of photography.

Said "1/2 day" coverage provides up to 5 hours of our professional wedding photography and may include one hour of an engagement photo session and/or a bridal photo session, plus the remaining hours for wedding day photography.

There are some gorgeous mountains (the Wasatch Mountains) and hiking trails very close to where we now live, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I used to go up to the "G" mountain, the Battle Creek trail (up and past the waterfall) and the Boneville Shoreline trails, recently, until somebody pointed out the Grove Creek trails, also starting at and overlooking Pleasant Grove. I am now hiking said trails whenever I can, and taking "some" pictures of the beauty I can find there, which is plenty.

Hi,

I've just decided to simply my life and unify my photography blogs into just this one. It was a bit too much trying to post images and information in my landscape, soccer, portraiture, special events, Los Angeles, California and/or Salt Lake City, Utah wedding blogs, plus Facebook and Flickr!
